umm how can you see "the kids are alright" and not have mad respect? you probly just take pictures of a freaking vase and call it art. this is REAL art because it gives some insight on humanity. on people. on ourselves. what the hell is a vase supposed to mean? what ever happened to looking for the DEEPER MEANING in things?
if you think he sucks just take a minute and REALLY look at them. he is not just capturing a random moment. he's capturing the very essence of what he shoots. the girl, if you look into her eyes its almost as if you really know who she is. it gave me goosebumps. it is art because it is visually stimulating and represents so much more. so stop dissing it and remember that cheesy "a picture is worth a thousand words" and that is why ryan mcginley IS a big name.
